LIVING WELL
Finding the home that fits the way you live.

Start with an ordinary day.
Before you think about finishes, think about your routine. Where do you spend your mornings? Do you work from home? Who shares your space? A useful shortlist begins with the things you do every day.
Pay attention to the neighbourhood.
Visit at different times if you can. Walk the surrounding streets, consider your regular journeys and notice the places you would use. The area around a home is part of the home itself.
Separate essentials from preferences.
Write two short lists. One holds the things your next home needs to have; the other holds the things you would enjoy. This makes comparing very different properties easier.
Give yourself room to reflect.
After a viewing, note what felt right and what needs another look. Ask for the information you still need before deciding on a next step.
